Jottem principles
Time on a calendar
With the Jottem calendar you see where your time went, and plan ahead. Time is money, and Jottem shows you both at a glance. See opportunities, and notice your pitfalls. That’s how you make more money.
Works the way you work
Jottem is flexible. One project? Fine. Thirty? They fit too.
Multiple projects for one client? Changing hourly rates and budgets? Projects without a rate? It all fits in Jottem.
Work offline
On the train, or at a client without wifi: you keep working, and so does Jottem. Log your hours as usual, and as soon as you’re back online they’re saved centrally.
Fixed price projects and other income
Put all your income on your calendar, and get the full picture. For a fixed price project, Jottem works out your average hourly rate for you.
Finally, insight. What was your most profitable month this year? And why?
No AI and no timer – good old manual
Manual? Yes, manual labor is a feature. Timers are forgotten, AI needs babysitting. With Jottem you track your hours yourself. You stay the boss, and you feel the responsibility.
Jottem gives you all the time (optional)
You are human, and you do more than work. Jottem also shows your personal time: holidays, sick leave, “the kids’ school play”. No more wondering why you worked less in a certain week.
Financial goal (optional)
Set yourself a yearly goal. Jottem then shows you each week how much you need to earn that week. More motivation, more money.
Personal goals (optional)
Making money is great. But you also do it for something. With Jottem you can mark hours worked for a personal goal (a new company bike, a faster laptop), or for a charity, so others benefit from your hard work.
