Privacy
Jottem is an app to keep track of your hours and amounts. This page says which data we keep for that, where, and what you can do with it. Questions? Email support@jottem.app.
What we keep
- Your account: your name, your email address and your password (only as an unreadable hash).
- What you enter: projects, folders, hours, amounts, goals and your settings.
- Signing in: a session cookie, so you stay signed in, and failed sign-in attempts (24 hours) against password guessing.
- Changes: a log of your changes, for 30 days, so we can fix mistakes. What you delete is really gone after 30 days.
On your own device
Jottem also works offline. For that, a copy of your data is kept in your browser. When you log out, that copy is erased.
Errors and statistics
To find errors and see how Jottem is used, we use our own service without cookies. It receives error reports, pages viewed and your IP address (to limit abuse), but not what you enter in Jottem.
Where it is kept
Everything is kept on servers running on renewable energy in the Netherlands, with backups. We don't sell your data and don't share it with anyone. Email (invitations and password resets) goes through our own mail server.
See, take or delete your data
Email support@jottem.app if you want to see or take your data, or want your account deleted. A deleted account and everything that belongs to it is completely gone after 30 days, from the backups too once they expire.
